Built for Entertaining

Whether celebrating summer solstice, gathering for an intimate dinner, or enjoying the infinity pool, Terrazza will delight your guests from morning to night.

In the context of “fire & water”, fire represents the excitement of celebrating and entertaining within this unique home. Terrazza has the capability to host a couple for casual dining, a group of close friends for a dinner party, or grand events for up to 200 guests.

If life’s greatest relationships are formed around food, then the Art of Living Well is based on a love of fine cuisine.

At the heart of Terrazza is a standout West Coast Kitchen featuring stunning millwork and limestone floors. Anchored by an eight-burner Wolf range and grill, the suite of appliances can accommodate even the most elaborate meals, and generous counter space provides ample room for prep work.

And while equipped for the technical aspects of cooking, it was also built to inspire: a large floor-to-ceiling window with images of lush greens and rugged terrain floods the room with the colours of nature from the west side.

For larger gatherings, the elegant dining room seats 12+ guests in front of a spectacular view through the tall glass doors and across the dining terrace. Besides artful lighting, the wood-burning fireplace brings warmth and calm to all who dine there. After dinner, Terrazza offers the perfect spot to indulge in a brandy and cigar under the stars on the secluded north terrace, which is fitted with 2 natural gas connections for extra comfort.

For casual celebrations, open the 9-foot glass doors from the dining area to the south-facing dining and sitting terrace, which evokes the charm of a vineyard from Old World Italy. Dining or snacking beneath the grape and wisteria vines, your guests overlook a panoramic of trees, ocean and city, making them feel as if they’re floating above the water. To keep your guests comfortable throughout the year, the terrace is designed with a multi-panel glass canopy and numerous natural gas connections for deck heaters. After diner, you can shift to the sitting area by your outdoor wood-burning fireplace.

After “breaking bread”, your guests can gravitate to the warm and intimate confines of the lower floor. Here, the La Scala-equipped theatre entertains and delights the senses, while the games room is ready for a spirited match of ping-pong, foosball, air hockey or billiards.

Immediately adjacent to the games room is a dramatic 1200-bottle wine cellar, which interacts with nature by sculpting the room so as to have an entire wall of bedrock. When it rains, water trickles down the rock and drains into the unique pea gravel system beneath the foundation, providing excellent temperature control and natural humidity.
